For the accomplishment of its scope and aims, the Association is able to:
a.
Represent its Partners - Members before the Greek, International and
foreign authorities and organisations.
b. Inform its Partners - Members
on matters that concern their activities.
c. Contribute in the development
of relations and contacts between the Partners - Members of the Association
and Greek and international organisations with similar activities.
d. Participate in the preparatory
works regarding the drafting of laws and regulations that are directly
or indirectly connected with the activities of its Partners - Members,
by suggesting on behalf of its Partners - Members the suitable legal
framework in order to best promote and exploit Renewable Energy Sources.
e. Contribute in the development
of cooperation with foreign and international related associations and
organisations.
f. Study and recommend measures
aiming at a more productive exploitation of Renewable Energy Sources,
the promotion of good competition and the application of rules of commercial
ethics.
g. Study and recommend measures
for the improvement of the efficiency of the Partners - Members, for
the harmonious cooperation and support among them and in general for
the training of their personnel.
h. Contribute in the establishment
of the Renewable Energy Sources as key sources of production of electrical
power, by organising seminars, conventions, symposiums and similar events
and also to publish - notwithstanding the means - and to supply the
Members and / or third parties, either with charge or without, with
periodical publications, leaflets, books, results of research as well
as with any kind of information that is connected to matters of Renewable
Energy Sources.
i. Constitute committees that will
take care of institutional matters that interest the Partners - Members
regarding their relations with various organisations and Authorities,
such as the Public Power Corporation (PPC), the Center for Renewable
Energy Sources (CRES), the Greek Forum for the promotion of Renewable
Energy Sources (ELFORES), the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE),
the Greek Transmission System Operator (GTSO), the Ministry of Development
(YPAN), the other competent Ministries and all other public and/or private
Authorities.
j. Contribute in the development
of relations and contacts between the Partners- Members and the Greek
and international Banking and Insurance System and inform them with
regard to means for the best promotion and most productive exploitation
of Renewable Energy Sources.
k. Employ personnel and advisors
and acquire the necessary equipment.
